Open Positions
The Director of Revenue Management will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the revenue performance of Sky Bird and/or JV partners by developing and implementing pricing strategies for all supplier categories, including air, hotel, car rentals, insurance, and GDS (Global Distribution Systems). This role will require a deep understanding of the market landscape and supplier assets to drive profitability. The individual will play a crucial part in revenue forecasting, supplier contracting, and performance analysis, working closely with internal teams and suppliers to identify and leverage revenue opportunities while mitigating risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Forecasting and Strategy Development:
Review and analyze supplier assets (airlines, hotels, car rentals, insurance, and GDS) to develop pricing strategies that optimize revenue across all supplier categories.
Create accurate revenue forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and business goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align pricing strategies with sales, marketing, and business development initiatives.
Supplier Contracting and Strategy Recommendations:
Actively participate in supplier negotiations and contracting discussions, providing insights and recommendations on pricing, terms, and conditions for each airline and supplier.
Recommend pricing structures and promotional strategies that maximize profitability while ensuring competitive positioning in the market.
Ensure that pricing strategies are aligned with both short-term business needs and long-term revenue goals.
Market and Competitive Analysis:
Monitor market conditions, competitor pricing strategies, and industry trends to make informed decisions and adjustments to revenue strategies.
Utilize data and analytics to forecast demand and adjust pricing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Conduct competitive benchmarking to identify new opportunities or potential risks.
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
Lead regular performance analysis to assess supplier utilization, pricing effectiveness, and revenue performance across all categories (air, hotel, car, insurance, and GDS).
Prepare and present comprehensive management reports on key performance metrics, including revenue trends, booking patterns, and supplier performance.
Identify risks and opportunities based on data analysis and market conditions, and recommend strategies to address them.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
Work closely with internal teams such as Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Operations to ensure that pricing strategies align with company objectives.
Partner with suppliers to gather market insights, ensure competitive pricing, and maximize profitability across all supplier categories.
Provide training and guidance to the revenue management team on pricing strategies, tools, and processes.
Risk Management and Opportunity Identification:
Identify and mitigate risks related to supplier relationships, pricing volatility, and market changes.
Leverage data to uncover new opportunities for revenue growth, including new market segments, additional services, or emerging trends.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
Lead the implementation and use of data analytics tools and systems to track and analyze revenue trends, pricing effectiveness, and supplier performance.
Ensure that all revenue management decisions are based on data insights, market intelligence, and business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- At least 7-10 years of experience in revenue management, pricing, or related roles, preferably within the travel or tourism industry.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting, pricing optimization, and performance analysis.
- Proven experience in supplier negotiations, particularly within the travel, airline, or hospitality sectors.
- Expertise in GDS, airline contracting, hotel rate management, and car rental pricing strategies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
- Highly proficient in data analysis and revenue management software tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, or other analytics platforms).
- Strong business acumen with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.

The New Account Sales Administrator will play a key role in driving the growth of Sky Bird’s client base by initiating contact with prospective travel agency clients. The primary responsibility will be to make outbound calls to travel agencies to complete their onboarding process with Sky Bird. Additionally, this role involves working through a preliminary prospect list to identify sales opportunities and pass qualified leads to the Area Sales Director for further development.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospective Client Engagement:
Facilitate review, approval, and activation of new client accounts.
Make outbound calls to approved travel agency client applicants to answer questions about Sky Birds products, services and process. Additionally, the individual will facilitate the introduction to the regional sales office that will be supporting them.
Facilitate the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring all necessary documentation and agreements are completed accurately and efficiently.
Coordinate the initial deposit required to activate the account.
Act as the first point of contact for new clients and guide them through the initial setup phase with Sky Bird.
Lead Generation and Qualification:
Work with a preliminary prospect list to identify and qualify potential sales leads.
Gather key information from prospects to assess their needs, identify business opportunities, and determine how Sky Bird can best serve them.
Pass qualified leads to the Area Sales Director for further action, ensuring a smooth handoff and follow-up process.
Customer Relationship Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress in the CRM system.
Follow up with prospects as needed to ensure a high conversion rate of leads into onboarded clients.
Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the onboarding process.
Collaboration with Sales Team:
Share insights and feedback with the sales team to improve outreach strategies and sales pitches.
Reporting and Metrics:
Track call activity, lead generation efforts, and onboarding progress using the company’s sales reporting tools.
Regularly report on metrics such as the number of calls made, new accounts onboarded, and leads passed to the Area Sales Director.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, customer service, or account management (preferably within the travel or tourism industry).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build relationships over the phone.
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy during the onboarding process.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in a call center or outbound sales role is a plus.
- Clear English language skills required. Filipino and Hindi are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for business development for the location.
